@bromabakery: all you need is an apple and a dream. well actually some oats and sugar too but you get the idea. this single serve apple crisp comes together in 30 min and is the perfect weeknight treat to make all fall. the full recipe is down below and ALSO available in my cookbook Sweet Tooth on page 256 🌟 happy baking 🩷 For the Apple: 1 large apple, peeled, cored, and finely sliced (whatever variety you have on hand works!) 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg Pinch of salt For the Oat Crisp: 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon old-fashioned oats Pinch of salt 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Generously grease a 6-ounce ramekin with nonstick cooking spray. 2. Combine the chopped apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt with a silicone spatula, then stack the apple slices the prepared ramekin. 3. Next, make the oat crisp. Use a small spatula or a spoon to stir together the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the flour, oats, and salt and stir until it resembles wet sand and clumps together. Then, sprinkle all over the apple. 4. Place the ramekin on a sheet pan (to catch any drips as the crisp cooks). Bake until the crumb topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling around the edges, 25 to 30 minutes. Allow the crumble to cool slightly before serving with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, obvi. XO!
