@borntoserve07: YOU REMEMBERED EVERYBODY.BUT DID YOU REMEMBER YOURSELF? Appointments. medication. Groceries. Laundry. Meals. Refills. Transportation. Bills. Phone calls. Things they need. Things they forgot. Things we promised we wouldn’t forget. Somehow, everybody keeps making the list. But where are you on it?💜 Your doctor’s appointment. Your haircut. Your quiet hour. Your lunch. Your sleep. Your walk. Your finances. Your plans. Your friendships. Your dreams. That little thing you keep saying, “I’ll get to it.” Caregiving can teach us to become very good at remembering everyone else while slowly postponing ourselves. Putting yourself on the list does not mean taking somebody else off. It simply means your life belongs on the list too. Maybe you cannot change everything today. Maybe you cannot take the whole day for yourself. But somewhere between everybody else’s needs, write down one thing with your name beside it. And this time, don’t keep moving it to tomorrow. What is one thing for YOU that needs to go back on your list?💜 #FollowMeAcrossTheBridge #caregiverlife
