Best part is you don’t even have to step into the dealership. You buy it from the fiance company/bank. They tell you what the payoff is.

This isn’t rocket science. The residual value is in your contract when you sign your lease. You don’t have to go and beg the managers for numbers. You can literally just buy it out from the manufacturer directly. Also, don’t buy an extended warranty from dealerships.

I lease vehicles all the time. As a matter of fact I lease one about every three years. Never had an issue and most of the maintenance and recalls are covered. When I purchase I get the maintenance built in to my loan so I never have to worry about oil changes and such. It works for me🤷🏽♀️

I had kia the residual value was $28k and car market value was $14k I returned the car saved myself $14k 😭 not always the case

Just before COVID I leased, took it back to the dealership 3 years later and they wouldn’t honor the residual value. Had to get my own financing and purchase directly from the leasing agency.
