They went out of their way to show the countryside—is that malicious? Back in 1920, Tokyo’s streetscapes in areas like Ginza, Asakusa, and Ueno weren't all that different from today's. The railway network was the best in the world, and the subway system would be completed just six years later. Stylish young men and women (*mobo* and *moga*) strutted about with fashion magazines in hand, going on dates at cafes and movie theaters. Those who were reasonably well-off would even drive their own cars to places like Yokohama for dates on the weekend. That’s why this video feels malicious. わざわざ田舎を映してるけど悪意か？🤭東京は大正9年（1920年）なら銀座や浅草、上野など現在の街並みとあまり変わらないし、鉄道網も世界一整備されてたし、地下鉄も6年後には貫通していた、街にはモボやモガがファッション誌を片手に闊歩し、カフェや映画舘でデートしていた。少し裕福なら週末は自家用で横浜とかにデートしていた。だからこの動画は悪意がある。
