Sedation is not inherently dangerous; inadequate patient selection, technique, monitoring, or airway management is. The same risks can occur with general anesthesia. In this case, the cardiologist specifically recommended avoiding general anesthesia, which should have been considered in the risk-benefit assessment.

It happen to me with adult going for gastric sleeve , I stopped the inhalation agent and started TIVA and all arrhythmia subsided when I was R2, happy to see these type of rare terrifying events under GA, keep it up prof 🙏🏻
