i have a problem with humidity - the temperature is good, i don’t have water bowl or anything inside all the time, we use sand and the humidity it’s 50% all the time - we got her 2 days ago and it might be because of that (we drove for hours with the terrarium in the back of the car) but i’m scared that it will not go down, what should i do? i live in copenhagen and humidity most of the time is over 80/85%

Bearded Dragon doesn't need as much as what people said... Been raising and have had Bearded Dragon since 2009... I raised them in a Cardboard Box a tank a wooden box and they all survived up to 7 years to 8 years with no issues... Imagine if your in a van.. You want air flows on all side and also only 1 part of the box need heat or during summer no heat and leave them outside patio or even build a 4x4 box on the ground with brick/rocks and a wood house...

Thank you for saying it. I keep good air flow thru my enclosure to keep it dry. I have a humidity fan to pull humidity out of the enclosure just for peace of mind.

As long as the humidity is not constantly over 70% they won’t get problems. If there is all the time humidity over 70/80% that alone can cause respiratory problems but humidity is not something you need to freak out over if it’s a bit high over a bit of time as long as it’s not a constant matter.

Thank you for clarifying! I literally had a nightmare last night about his humidity in my dragon’s enclosure. His enclosure yesterday was at 60% and I was losing my mind!

Thank you!!! 🙏 I explain this to people all the time! Condensation and moisture are the issues not humidity in itself.
