I do have worry Debbie is gonna end up fussing that a death of family and a death of a pet are not the same. Some people see that extremely different but I do get it. I went in the day after my dog passed this year and I could barely handle my work and completely shut out the social part of work. Being at a front desk and being that emotional would not go well together. And I agree with others, Lauren should have a bit more control and try to compose herself as assistant director. Technically she is the lead when Debbie is gone (I guess except for bill? Since he is also the owner) so I think if she could calm down she could take the desk over easy and work things out.

yeah, Debbie's dad is kinda being..... i agreed with him in the very beginning, but damn, dude. and I really hope Debbie keeps this energy when she finds out it's a cat. cats can be family too, you raise them their whole lives, you bond with them, and to sudde ly lose them is painful as well, especially if they helped a lot with mental health.
