@gafpr1: The Armour Training School (ATS) held a passing out religious parade at the 3 Infantry Battalion Auditorium at Liberation Barracks on Sunday 13 September 2026. The event, held under the theme “My Life, My Testimony,” focused on the recruits’ individual experiences, discipline, and the challenges they overcame throughout the rigorous training. Delivering his homily, Imam Hassan Suallah Abusufian referenced Quran 14:32-34 to urge the recruits to remain thankful to Allah for guiding them safely through the demands of their training. Expanding on the central theme, the Chaplain, Captain George Opoku, highlighted the personal testimonies of the recruits and challenged them to selflessly choose the objectives of the Ghana Armed Forces over personal comfort. Addressing the intake, the Commanding Officer of ATS, Lieutenant Colonel Prince Amoah reminded the trainees that professional military service strictly demands discipline, confidence, and absolute respect for Command and all persons. The Guest of Honour, Honourable Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, Member of Parliament for Asutifi North, commended the Commanding Officer and instructors for their dedication and professionalism, while urging the recruits to maintain discipline both in and out of uniform. The ceremony featured the presentation of awards to deserving recruits who demonstrated outstanding performance during the training period. The service was attended by the Commanding Officer 3 Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Naah, personnel of 3 Garrison and families of the recruits.
