In TX we had a group bullying Mosques and I organized a rally to show love to the mosque in my neighborhood. They fed all of us, gave us tours, and answered all our questions. It was such a comminty building moment and changed a lot of peoples minds away from fear.

I grew up in Dearborn MI. My best friend was Muslim. My father kicked me out of the house when I was 17. My friends mom took me in and treated me as one of her own children for years. Never asked for anything in return.

Sadly christianity has been corrupted and manipulated into a weapon, completely distanced and ignoring the humanity and empathy for everyone that was the true message of Jesus. I am pagan, but this is what a church, mosque, temple should be to a community. Much respect

I believe that cause some of the Muslims women I have worked with always brought extra food in case someone didn't have food for lunch. they always made sure I had something. kindest people in the world. 💙💙💙

In Memphis a few years ago a church that was running a meal program made people sit for a sermon before they could eat. This was not allowed because they were receiving government funds. I'm a Christian and thought this was terrible.

Every time I've tried to join a Christian church, they've been after me right away to know what I was going to do to help them. Without even letting me enjoy a minimal amount of community first. I've stopped church hunting.

I personally went to many different christian help centers/churches through my life and never got help without being proselytized to. Many times I didn’t seek help because I didn’t want to hear it again.
