🚨 AKURE MOTORISTS ARE ALREADY STRESSED — WHY ADD MORE? Friday traffic in Akure is already something motorists have to battle, especially with the ongoing flyover construction. Now, part of a major road is being blocked for a political party activity. The result? 🚗 Longer queues ⛽ More fuel consumption 😩 More frustration ⏰ More time wasted Nobody is saying political activities shouldn’t happen. But must they always take place in a way that affects thousands of road users? There are alternative venues that could accommodate such gatherings without putting additional pressure on already-congested roads. We need better planning. We need better coordination. We need to put the public into consideration. 👉 Is this really the best location and timing for a party activity? AKURE NEEDS DEVELOPMENT — BUT DEVELOPMENT SHOULD NOT MEAN UNNECESSARY SUFFERING FOR MOTORISTS.

🚨 MUST WE SUFFER AVOIDABLE PAINS? FLYOVER CONSTRUCTION + PARTY ROAD BLOCKAGE = MORE TRAFFIC! At a time when motorists in Akure are already battling serious congestion because of the ongoing flyover construction, why block part of a major dual carriageway for party activities—especially on a busy Friday? More traffic. More fuel wasted. More frustration. Why not use Democracy Park? Party activities should not become another burden for ordinary motorists. AKURE NEEDS SOLUTIONS, NOT MORE CONGESTION!
