@mw10.01: It's not that we want them to lose limbs! It's that without surgery, they won't survive! Someone left us a message asking why we didn't save the leg. The truth is, it couldn't be saved... when faced with the choice between life and the leg, we had to choose one. It is indeed difficult to find adopters for dogs with disabilities. Every stray animal we rescue that survives remains at our shelter. Regardless of whether anyone pays attention to them, we will continue to care for them until they can be reunited with a family. If no one adopts them, we will keep caring for them indefinitely.
