It’s also good when you’re baking and you need to powder the counter or powder dough that way you’re not contaminating all of your flour and you can just sprinkle as needed

Seasoning above the cooking food will lead to your seasoning get hard and molded from the steam getting trapped in the seasoning btw

Friendly tip: never use your spices/open container above the hot steaming pan. The moisture goes right inside and will cause it to clump and spoil.
