I think it’s really sweet how she ended up with his friend, wasn’t his friend also one of the other victims in the original timeline? It’s kind of poetic that they got to build a life together instead of having it cut short again. Anyways, Erased is peak!!!

everyone hates the ending cause their not together but their gravelly mistaken the mcs intent frm the start, he was never doing it because he liked her, purely for the sake he had the ability to do so and he used it for what he thought was best. Self sacrifice for the greater good, him crying at the end was the moment he knew he succeeded. giving her another opportunity to live a full life

lowk one of my favorite anime’s the only reason why people shit on it is because they expected the mc to get the girl which is a weird way to think about it because he was a grown man in a child’s body and she was a child who he was trying to save, it’s not about him getting the girl the reason why he was crying at the end isn’t because she had a life with someone else it was because he saved her.
