Drain well and place in a bowl. Mash the lentils with the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and cumin. Mix until you get a rustic paste. Quickly warm the bread in a frying pan or at a low oven temperature. Place the bread in a simple basket. Arrange the dates beside it. Add the olives to a small bowl or directly into the basket.
