I hated cats. Kinda still do…except for one. My boy Nimbus. I was outside…gun in my hand…and he just…walked up. Never seen him in my life. He was like 3 months old. Maybe 4. It was cold. He crawled right in my lap and curled up…never even thought about hurting myself since.

My “don’t kill yourself cat” left when I was doing good. I got him when my son was taken by his father. It took me two years to get my son back and we moved far away afterwards. Once settled, he decided he wanted to live with our elderly neighbour. I was so sad but it was obvious he didn’t want to come home so I went and knocked on our neighbours door to let her know she can keep him, as long as she loves him the way I did. Maybe she was going through something and he wanted to save her too 🥹
