Most of the nurses in my NICU have switched to Oura rings. But I know a girl who wears her Apple watch on a stretchy band on her upper arm, lol.

so to all the people clueless in the NICU we can't wear anything below the elbow so we have to wear our step trackers and smart watches on our ankles.

I also wear my Fitbit on my ankle, it's the most accurate way to count my steps because if you're pushing a wheelchair or holding something it doesn't count when it's on your arm!
