To be fair, to say “ there’s no world they could’ve won “ entails it’s a logical impossibility which isn’t true. You can make some arguments that gives them a higher probability of winning, however saying they couldnt have by any means just isn’t true

Their “economy” was based around the military industrial complex and rebuilding Germany. That was only possible through forced/ slave labor and pilfering goods from other countries and people. So at best it was extremely unstable and prone to collapse at some point.

The only possibility of "winning" WW2, would have been if Italy had not invaded Greece, the Germany might have had another 6 weeks to get to Moscow, grab the oilfield in the Caucasus' as fast as possible, and the Soviets might, repeat might collapse. However, it would have to be fast, because the German logistics was so poor, as the distance to the front increased, the more stretched it would become. Add in the rainy season, then winter, Germany HAD to defeat the Soviets before they hit, or their chances of success drop to near zero. Monday morning quarterbacking here, but the chance of Germany winning was always close to zero.

even if they had any chance of a small bit of success with anything, they were fucked by 1940/1941. they didn't even last 2 years without running out of supplies, resources, and money. that's a big reason why they attacked Russia, for oil.

I think this is a smug view in the retrospective. There are definite branches where both the Reich and Imperial Japan survive the war with negotiated peace settlements and the Soviet Union is reduced to a rump state. Just one different decision during Barbarossa. His argument that the Nazi regime couldn’t have survived because it was corrupt overlooks the fact that all regimes are corrupt, including the successful ones - it’s inherent to political power.
