@htowndailynews: Investigators with the Houston Police Department say a man was shot and killed near a bus stop in The Heights area overnight. The Houston Fire Department responded to the scene on Cavalcade and Northwood at 2:30 a.m. and declared the man dead at the scene, the department said. According to HPD, a witness said a car pulled up to the bus stop, and someone got out and shot the victim multiple times before leaving the area. Detectives said they are searching for the suspect and also looking for surveillance video. Right now, it's unclear if the shooting was targeted or a random act, according to investigators. #htx #htown #houston #houstontx #houstontexas
