@islamick166: Prayer is the pillar of the religion and the greatest act of worship after the two testimonies of faith. It is the strong bond between the servant and his Lord. Allah, exalted is He, has made it obligatory for Muslims to perform it five times a day so that it may be a means of comfort for the heart, forgiveness of sins, and increase in faith. The correct prayer is the one a Muslim performs with humility and tranquility, following the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ in his words and actions. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Pray as you have seen me pray.” A Muslim begins his prayer with purification and proper wudu, covering the awrah and facing the qiblah. Then he intends the prayer in his heart, and after that he opens the prayer with the opening takbir, saying: “Allahu Akbar,” raising his hands level with his shoulders or ears. Then he recites the opening supplication if he wishes, and after that he recites Surah al-Fatihah in every rak‘ah because it is one of the essential pillars of the prayer. Then he recites whatever he is able of the Noble Qur’an. After finishing the recitation, he bows with humility, placing his hands on his knees and saying: “Subhana Rabbi al-‘Azim,” making sure to be calm and not hasty. Then he rises from bowing, standing upright, and says: “Sami‘a Allahu liman hamidah,” then: “Rabbana wa laka al-hamd.” After that, he prostrates on the seven parts: the forehead with the nose, the two palms, the two knees, and the tips of the feet, and says: “Subhana Rabbi al-A‘la,” and he strives to be humble during prostration because it is one of the moments when the servant is closest to his Lord. Then he sits between the two prostrations, saying: “Rabbighfir li,” then he performs the second prostration. These actions are repeated in the remaining rak‘ahs according to their number. In the final sitting, he recites the tashahhud and the Ibrahimi prayer, then concludes his prayer with the taslim to the right and to the left, saying: “As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah.” Among the important pillars of the prayer are: standing for those who are able, the opening takbir, reciting al-Fatihah, bowing, rising from it, prostration, sitting between the two prostrations, tranquility, the final tashahhud, sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, and the taslim. Among the recommended Sunnahs in the prayer are: raising the hands at the takbir, placing the right hand over the left on the chest, reciting the opening supplication, reflecting on the verses, and maintaining complete humility and focus throughout the prayer. Prayer is not merely movements a Muslim performs, but a great act of worship that illuminates the heart, brings comfort to the soul, and increases the servant’s nearness to Allah, exalted is He. And the more a Muslim is sincere and humble in performing it, the more he will feel tranquility and happiness in his life. #تلاوت_خاشعہ_صوت_یدخل_قلب #راحہ_نفسیہ_قران
