📩 Send this to a friend who loves Orchids! 🌸💚 🌿 ORCHID PLANTER FROM A BOTTLE YOU’LL NEED: • Clean recycled glass bottle prepared for the planter • Healthy Orchid • Orchid bark / airy Orchid medium • Decorative stones if desired • Clean water METHOD: 1. Start with a clean bottle that has already been safely prepared for use as a planter. 2. Make sure every exposed glass edge is completely smooth and safe to handle. 3. Carefully remove the Orchid from its old container. 4. Inspect the roots and remove only roots that are clearly dead, hollow or mushy using clean tools. 5. Position the healthy roots naturally inside the new planter — don't tightly compress them. 6. Add a chunky, airy Orchid medium around the roots while keeping the crown above the medium. 7. Keep good airflow around the root system. 8. Water according to the Orchid's needs and allow the roots to receive oxygen between waterings. 💧🌿 9. Place it in bright indirect light and monitor the visible roots for moisture and root health. 💡 PRO TIP: Transparent glass makes it easier to observe the roots, but a decorative glass container should never mean permanently saturated roots. Most commonly grown epiphytic Orchids need excellent aeration around their root system. If the bottle in the video is modified or cut, glass can fracture unpredictably.
