According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, the two fathers chased down and tackled Christopher Garza, 28, after he allegedly tried to snatch one child, then another. The men held Garza, who suffered "minor injuries," until deputies arrived and took him into custody. According to law enforcement incident reports, Garza had narcotics and sex toys in his vehicle, and gave deputies a fake name when they began questioning him. Garza faces charges including attempted kidnapping and failure to identify, with bonds set at $100,000 and $3,000. Sheriff’s officials praised the bystanders who intervened and urged parents to remain vigilant—even in familiar public spaces.
