yes 100% I think him still being with Maika is messing with her. And it's her longest relationship so maybe it's hard to let go. And I think that's why she ran to Ethan, to have male validation and not be alone. Ok but hear me out… I also think it hit her harder because Dalton didn’t really care that she was Ariana Grande. 😭 I feel like ALL of her exes loved the fact that they were dating THE Ariana Grande, while Dalton could’ve cared less lol. He didn’t feed into her ego or overly obsess over her, and I honestly think that probably made their relationship feel different to her.

I have wondered the same, her pattern in relationships suggests that she may be the type of woman who needs to feel desired. If he wasn't giving her constant attention or potentially cheated, that could've been enough to really bring her down. He doesn't seem particularly bothered by her or the fact that he's not allowed to talk about their marriage, which could be another hit to the ego. I think her relationship with Spongebob was to get back that feeling of desireability, I actually think it wasn't meant to last as long as it did, but media found out and she had to play off like they were in love to avoid even more backlash. Going back to her ex can also follow this same pattern, especially as she chooses to make it very public and play pretend that they're soulmates when they're likely to just break up again.
