As a big time quitter, I think money is a big restraint for people. But that aside, I think a lot of people start off in a good job/relationship and when it turns sour they waste time trying to get the old thing back again instead of accepting it has changed and can never be the same again.

I kept throwing money into my ex and his family as a 19 years old and thar lesson learned me to exit quickly. Often people do not see why I leave someone until that person fucks someone else who gave them the chance. If I see the sign, I am out. No long commentary needed either 😂

I think it’s ok to try very hard at something until you know it’s either for you or going to work out or not and give it a good go but once you stop trying and give up at everything all together that’s when there’s a problem. Better to take a chance than to never know what could have been!
