@pinknews: ‘Heated Rivalry’ star Hudson Williams made an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival on 17 September to talk about the hit series and answer some questions, detailing what it was like to get back in the role of Shane Hollander for ‘Heated Rivalry’ Season 2. X user hollanovhr attended TIFF and captured footage of Williams walking the crowd through his experience, both leading up to Season 2’s taping and his first few days on set. Williams shares that he and ‘Heated Rivalry’ co-star Connor Storrie were “possibly overconfident” about how easy it would be to get back in the headspace of their characters: “‘We know the characters like the back of our hands. We’re gonna show up, and it’s just gonna be Ilya and Shane right back,’” he recalled them saying. He then went on to detail that Storrie told him after his first day on set that he struggled with his performance, feeling like he was doing an impression of Ilya instead of truly becoming him again. Williams, still confident, went on set for his first day and realised he felt the same way. He then went on to credit showrunner Jacob Tierney for helping them get back into the swing of things: “Jacob does a really good job of making this set feel as tiny as it was in Season 1.
