I only have one employee but she works her whole ass off and we make it right for her. An extra week off? Paid. Family emergency? Go home. You need new tires to get to work? Put it on our cc. You need a mid day nap because you’re working 5 am to 8 pm? Do it, I hope you take every moment to take a break that you can. I made extra money? That’s because of you, so it’s time for a raise.

I followed this belief as a Deputy Director for all my staff. I insisted they attend programs at their children’s school even if was work time. Treat employees the way you want to be treated and they will have your back every time. And every one of my 200 employees did exactly that.

As an Operations Manager... this is how you have staff that will committed to their place of employment. If I am told Little Joey is getting an award at school, I will do everything including covering for them so they don't miss a moment in time they can't get back. Great Leadership kind sir!!!
