@bigmike1poet: Sometimes we wear ourselves out trying to prove something to God that He never asked us to prove. We give more, carry more, hurt more, and call it sacrifice, when all He really wanted was for us to trust Him enough to listen. Obedience is not always loud or dramatic; sometimes it looks like walking away, being still, forgiving, starting over, or taking one small step when you cannot see what comes next. It is choosing God’s direction over your own comfort and believing that His instructions are not meant to break you, but to lead you.
