My old gal is 14, she no longer waits at the door, but when she sees we are back home she gets up and prances as best she can. They definitely love to be with their pack.

My 10yo border collie acts as if I’m returning from war every time I come back into the house… even if I’ve just taken the trash out and been gone 27 seconds. My corgis, they just get excited if I sneeze or breathe or exist in their vicinity lol
