Let’s also not forget that 2022 was when we started coming out of the pandemic and so basic supply and demand tells us, when there is a surge in travel (aka demand) the price will go up, where as now the price is going up due to a drop in supply due to the strait of Hormuz being closed

I started driving in 2022. Gas was still about a buck cheaper per gallon than now. And even now the gas prices are reduced because it has a higher ethanol content compared to before.

Forget gas, oil for my house is $5.89 a gallon. I have a 275 gallon tank 😳
