@hustlersnthehood: Jalen Hurts said it was a morning news segment three years ago that got him. Philly schools were closing early, not for snow, not for a hurricane, but because the classrooms had no air conditioning and were hitting 90 degrees. In 2024 he put up $200,000 and 300 AC units went into 10 schools. On Tuesday he walked onto the stage at Northeast High, the biggest high school in the city, and put up $600,000 more to cool its 1,400 seat auditorium. The room was so hot the mayor was fanning herself while he spoke. When he got there, 118 schools in the district had no AC. Now it's 52. "Let's get it to zero." #HustlersNTheHood
