I beyond understand this! our house burned down in Bellscorners Ottawa 2022 lost everything and our furbabies , rebuilt 1.5 years later, then this July 1(Happy Canada Day)the basement flooded. poo poo water coming from the drain. basement destroyed. test the marriage time and time again. you do get through. When you are with your person and work on it, it will be ok

The toddler stage of parenting does a number on a marriage but I will say the intentionality really helps. Just like you said getting coffee together, other small bubbles of time you make sure to put into your schedule makes a world of a difference. My husband and I were there recently as well but even something as small as making sure to stop and great each other when we get home vs jumping straight into parenting has been huge. You guys have got this 💙💙
