@abc7chicago: Snake catchers in Australia had their work cut out for them when a large python wrapped itself around a homeowner’s towel rack – after the crew had smashed tiles in the bathroom trying to get to the animal. ⠀ Stuart McKenzie of Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 said his team responded to a call from a resident reporting that two snakes had been hiding under a bathtub in Townsville, Queensland. ⠀ McKenzie said that following a fruitless attempt to remove the snakes by taking a sledge hammer to the bathroom’s tiles, one of them was later found wrapped around the towel rack. ⠀ The python, described as “bitey” in the video, is seen acting defensively and lunging several times at McKenzie’s partner, who is eventually able to get the snake in a containment bag. #news #snakes #python #australia
