My mom literally refuses to help me, i have NOBODY else. And she tells me to get over my anxiety in the car….i was hit by one and had to have a therapist for anxiety after…😭🤦♀️

Problem is a lot of instructors are very shit at their job. From experience it’s really hard to find someone who’s passionate and willing to teach you. They just want to take your money and expect you to know the ins and outs of driving already.

I paid 110$ for a 2 hour lesson. Instructor told me I did great just needed more practice. I have still not practiced because nobody wants me to use their car.

Yep! Passed my driving test first time last week, 2 months after turning 17. Had 3 lessons with an instructor but the rest of the time I was watching YouTube videos & incorporating those tips into private practise with my dad.

I paid 200$ for my class, just for the instructor to be a dick to me the entire time and make snarky comments and when I passed. He said I was lucky enough to pass. It destroyed my confidence to actually drive for 3 years.
