You’re right, although I can kind of understand it. He didn’t have the full context of what the other Beasts went through, and, well, let’s just say that when someone destroys something that precious to you, you don’t usually think about their reasons—you just focus on what that person did. And then there’s the fact that it wasn’t the Beasts, but the monarchs weren’t exactly helping either, since they were basically followers of the Beasts’ new ideologies. Anyway, it’s all First Egg’s fault 😔

i think it's because of smc's influence blinded ssc judgement. I really like all the back story of each beast. Smc tired of his followers for seeking the truth and starts deceiving them. Esc only wants everyone to be happy but her possessiveness is too much it became toxic that's why they want to left her garden. Mfc was taken for granted and was abused. Bsc we know before this trailer is he loves destruction coz he's bored, but with this back story we were enlightened that villains were never born villains but someone/something made them to become one. Ssc always thought his leadership and solidarity is not enough to win the trust of his followers and believed he was betrayed by his fellow crystal jam holder.

The fact that Silent Salt doesn't know about the beasts becoming corrupted is part of his character. That's why he's a villain, for imprisoning the beasts and blaming them for having the false belief that the beasts were corrupted for "fun" I've always complained about people who don't look at the lore and only get their information from misleading TikToks.like SOME Silent Salt fans call him a "hero," misinterpreting the character in the most incorrect and vague way.

The thing is. It is still the other beasts faults for taking everything Silent Salt stood for and cared about. Their influence on cookie kind, led to them taking away Silent Salt’s purpose. Silent Salt wanted Elder faerie to kill him because he knew he fell from grace. But because the others corrupted too, and more willingly did so than him, he had to do something. Especially since the soul jams going quiet, means they aren’t following the virture they represent

It’s not like he had a choice. Silent salt was the only uncorrupted virtue at that time. It would’ve been impossible to try to save the beasts. Currently we have 6 uncorrupted soul jams and 4 corrupted ones so it’s a better time for the to save the beasts and bring them back to their og form

As much as I love him, and he is my favorite beast, he himself did lose his own virtue in the process as well! His original virtue was about people together and not doing everything by yourself, but in the end he came to his own conclusions, his own actions and his own judgment instead of more opinions. His actions and thoughts were valid yes from what he saw and went through but he still lost who he really was and was just as corrupted as the other beast when it came to losing their virtue
