The movie was not like a game, at all. And thats OK. GREAT movie but no lore, characters or enemies from the games. It is its own art. just with name RE in it.

I disagree about the ending. It was a long set up to make the end better. Laying it on so thick the whole movie makes you think you’ve figured how it’s going to end, and then it’s a complete subversion of that.

fyi majority of the monsters in the movie do not resemble any of the memorable monsters from the games just saying. at best most of the monsters look more from the Thing and The forest

Just saw it and it’s more Resident Evil than most Resident Evil games. It’s more in the spirit of RE2. But If they ever introduce any of the main characters the franchise will be ruined. Please keep them away!

The movie was fucking amazing let him make his franchise the unexpected twist ending was great and shows he can build the franchise with this being a entry to the world and now he can look at making a cast of main characters for his resident evil world i support fully as a fan of all the main entry’s

My biggest issue is I don't want a movie that's just based in the world of the games with a original story, I want the games brought to screen, properly, and I say properly so people don't bring up welcome to racoon city cause welcome to raccoon city didn't do it properly
