I’ve worked at multiple gas stations and we’ve had to drop anything over $50 because of people robbing! It’s policy at a lot of places unfortunately

She could have walked to the back and got the change. I know people that worked at Murphys and I have ran convenient stores. Not only that there's a safe that absolutely has change she could have gotten and dropped the $100 bill.

ppl arent smart anymore I wanted to give 11 cents so I didn't end up with a ton of a change. and the girl looked at me like I was dumb at Sam's club.

I've worked at alot different gas stations thats ALWAYS BEEN THE RULE. we always kept a min of 100 in 20's in the drawer.

all the stores around here won't even take anything larger than a 20.. the same thing happened to me one time at McDonald's I had a 50 and went hru the drive thru ordered my family's food got to the window she said it was 42 and some change well I went to give her the 50 she said ma'am I can't take this bc I can't give you the change back for that I was like what you mean it's only 7 and some change ma'am she would not do it so got the manager she came over with attitude and said we will do it this time but from now on just know we don't have change like that. I looked at her and said now that's okay I'll just go somewhere else that does. make it make sense that they couldn't or wouldn't give $7 change back 😂😂 so I went on to burger King and hadn't problems

They do that all the time I've tried to get a carton of cigarettes that was 45.00 and 20.00 in gas and they did me the same way so I took my business somewhere else!!!
