While I know and appreciate the fact you do this out of the goodness of your heart, but who is responsible if someone trips and injure themselves on the crappy sidewalk you unearthed that may have been purposely left covered? I know in big cities the landlords are responsible for the sidewalks directly in front of their buildings. Does the same law apply here?
