This might be the easiest and fastest way to make ruffles ✨🧵 A few tips that helped me get the perfect ruffles: • Cut your ruffle strip at least 1.5–2 times longer than your project so you have enough fabric to create nice, full gathers. • I usually make my ruffle about 2 cm wider than the finished width I want, as you’ll lose some width when gathering and sewing it in place. • If you want a little more gathering, try gently holding the top thread while sewing to create a bit more tension. • I recommend using polyester thread because it’s usually stronger and less likely to break when you’re pulling the gathers. A good quality thread makes a big difference too!
