@mathewplayswithfire: I'm giving this little cup away as part of my ALS fundraiser (see my pinned post) ...I don't normally do the "like, comment, and share" thing ...but this time I am ...if you feel so inclined ...please do one or all of those things. I can't imagine a better reason for this one to go viral ...or at least bring more attention to a worthy cause. . I am overwhelmed with your support and kindness already. At the time of writing this, you've raised almost $2k! ...and it's not even lunchtime 🥲 ...not to mention all of the kind words. Thank you so much! . I had a lot of anxiety about putting myself out there with something so personal ...but it's worth it. I shot and edited the promo video more times than I care to admit ...I was so focused on creating something that I, and of course my friend, Jim, would be proud of. Once I was finished and watched it for what it was ...it nearly broke me ...I wasn't sure if I could post it ...but I did, and people are showing up for the party ...so thank you! . Luckily, I cry rusty nails coated with gasoline, so people just think it's part of my schtick. 🫠🙃 . . . #ceramics #asmr #als #contemporaryceramics #fuckals

All souls chapel at priest field in Middleway , WV home to the wizard clip. The 38-acre parcel of land that is now Priest Field was orginally donated to the Catholic Church by a local farmer named Adam Livingston in 1802.Livingston, born a Lutheran, was originally not kindly disposed toward Catholics. However, the arrival of a mysterious stranger at his doorstep one in night in 1794 prompted a series of unexplained, frightening manifestations that drewcrowds from near and far. Flaming logs jumped out of the fireplace, invisible hands rocked the baby’s cradle, and fabrics, when removed from drawers and pockets where they had been placed whole, were found with mysterious holes cut in the shape of crescent moons. The “Mystery of the Wizard Clip” was finally resolved through the action of Catholic priests Fr. Dennis Cahill and Fr. Demetrius Gallitzin, who prayed and said Mass in Livingston’s home, ending the supernatural activity for good. In the years following this event, Livingston and his family received training in the Catholic faith through the instruction of a mysterious Voice. In gratitude, Livingston willed this property to the Catholic Church, with the intention that it might sustain a priestThe property lay dormant for over a hundred and fifty years, until Bishop Joseph Hodges appointed Msgr. John O’Reilly the first director of Priest Field in 1978. Fr. O’Reilly began the work of constructing what has become a stunning place of refreshment and peace for thousands of visitors every year. An excellent primer on the story of the Wizard Clip and Priest Field was produced by Jimmy Akin’s Mysterious World.
