His principled stance on Islamic teachings and his rejection of foreign ideologies. He gained recognition for his efforts to unite Muslims under the banner of Islam, and strict adherens to salafi teachings. He was praised by the ulema, the likes of Shaykh Muqbil,Shaykh Al Albani and Shaykh Rabee. In 1991, Shaykh Jameel ur-Rahman was assassinated, May Allah accept him. He is remembered as a scholar-warrior who remained steadfast in his dedication to the deen, embodying both knowledge and action in service of Islam.
