This happened to my mom's horse. She feels forever guilty no matter what we say. It was such a heartbreaking mistake. 🥺 She didn't know that the pellets she bought needed to be soaked. Everything else she did.

we have a dog at work who had surgery once for throat issues. now she can't have lumpy or hard food. her parents said to just add a bit of water. We got a whisk for her. like no joke add water and whisk until soup smooth. we ain't taking a risk.

This scar is from my horse choking and I jammed my hand in there to pull the wad out! Not again, buddy! He choked the week before sooooo nope! He bit my hand on accident.. But no choke!! So a win is a win.

Anytime I persist and they say to make mash I make soup one to make sure they are at least getting some fluid god forbid they decide to not hydrate enough and 2 for this exact reason I don’t want to deal with choke🤣
