Been trading with a live account since day one. Paper Traded first and then I went live account Definitely got my ass handed to me and I was mentored by a legendary trader. I don't know much about prop firms. They didn't exist when I started trading 32 years ago. 💯

You will lose a lot of money with a prop firm as well, people who are losing in the market lack discipline. The focus should be discipline. Live account or a prop if you can’t master self, you will lose money.

A good rule of thumb is just to risk the amount of $$ that’s disposable to the individual trader. Prop or cash account, you’ll still definitely lose to learn 💯

Imma say trade both. I traded props for months . I made prop money for them not me & end up blowing it before payout . I said imma put $300 in Live after 5 months. I made $4500 in two days 3 trades 8hrs . I trade both & I only been trading since February. Not everybody can lose $300 , so definitely prop. Do what works for your pockets lol

if u really wanna learn, trade on sim get taught. Every successful trader was taught, ive meet people that have bought 50 or more props. if you trade a brokerage account with your own money yiu have no prop firm stupid rules, thata not trading

started last year with zero knowledge on how to trade, started with a live and lost it all. this year I'm back but on prop and I'm doing better than last year, I believe because I know most I can loose is what I paid for the prop.
