I was driving alone in JB buying some stuff for the family. And I look at the streets. Food and places are open till late. People are friendly. And there's this feeling of being less stressful. Perhaps it's a bit like Singapore many years ago and that reminded me of how Singapore was then. Singapore did improve greatly but there's no more kampung spirit.

Cost of living in SG keeps rising till can’t breathe. Living in Thailand can travel to so many places. Work life balance, pace slower, more traditional food choices & authentic. People are friendly & feeling less stressed. Houses not as exp as in SG.
