@cbsnews: Artists in Gaza have painted a mural honoring the rapper Macklemore after he was removed from Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour in response to remarks he made supporting Palestinians. Painted on a large slab of concrete among the ruins of Gaza City, the mural shows Macklemore wrapped in a Palestinian flag with his fist raised and the message, “Thank you for using your voice for Palestine.” An official with UNICEF, the UN child agency, said the attention generated by Macklemore and his controversial removal from the tour could bring more support to Gaza, where nearly all residents rely on aid for food, water, medical care and shelter.
