Once a major adversary of both the Hero Association and the Monster Association, he became widely known as the "Human Monster" (人間にんげん怪人かいじん, Ningen Kaijin) due to his fascination with monsters.[10][11] Sitch of the Hero Association once regarded him as a grave threat to the organization despite being only human.[12][13] After being expelled from Bang's dojo for going on a rampage,[14] Garou has since returned as a disciple following the Monster Association incident.
