@roadogsrescue: Meet our newest Roadog, Claudia Prettypea ❤️ This tiny girl was dumped at the shelter and is a greeding mess. She is possible hydro and also has the fluffy Frenchie coat that people are often told makes these dogs “rare” and cost thousands of dollars. But Claudia is a real dog, not a designer product. She is absolutely precious, but she also has congenital abnormalities affecting her body and gait, and she will likely need BOAS to help her breathe. We need to stop believing the idea that fluffy Frenchies and other “designer” variations are rare, perfect, or somehow more valuable because of their appearance. There are dogs like Claudia showing up in shelters and rescues all the time, facing suffering and often euthanasia. The price tag doesn't measure the value of a life and dogs like her do not deserve to be dumped because they fall victim to the side effects of greeding. It’s $5 friday and more dogs like Claudia need us. Please give today to support our mission.
