@znbctoday: Chilanga-Kafue Road Expansion Works Begin By Kasabula Muchimba Works to expand the Chilanga-Kafue Road from two to four lanes have commenced, in a move aimed at easing traffic congestion along the busy route. Road Development Agency –RDA- Chief Executive Officer NELSON CHUMA says the project will cover 6.4 kilometres, stretching from Musamba Bridge, near the Chilanga Cement plant, towards Kafue District. Mr. CHUMA says initial works involve the removal of kerbstones to create additional road space between Musamba Bridge and Mundawanga. He says the Government also plans to expand Musamba Bridge from two to four lanes as part of the project. Mr. CHUMA was speaking when he inspected the works with Chilanga South Member of Parliament NGENDA SITUMBEKO, Acting Chilanga District Commissioner MAUREEN CHILENDE and other Government officials.
