@gap: Our Gap × A.P.C film was inspired by the spirit of ’60s French Nouvelle Vague and films like “À bout de souffle.” We wanted to tell a Franco-American love story about two strangers as they choose to take the long way — and what they find when they do. We cast @iaaaannnnnnn and @palomabonnie as our actors, both artists with music backgrounds, as a nod to our brands’ shared history in music. It was their first time acting — a new way to explore their creativity and express themselves. Then came director @karlcan, whose roots in both France and Los Angeles made him the perfect choice to connect both worlds.
