Steps to going to urgent care. 1) book appointment online, fill out all forms before you arrive and upload insurance and ID. 2) show up 15 minutes before the appointment, fill out all the same forms again on their little touchscreen thing. 3) wait 40 minutes. 4) Get the most questionable medical opinion you’ve ever heard in your life

I went for having an ear infection so I thought so much pain i went in the doctor looked in my ear with his eyes only said im fine an hour later I went to hospital they pulled a bug out of my ear

Went to urgent care for what I suspected was a fever blister. Never had one before so I wasn't sure. Doc looked like a Tommy Chong wannabe, BARELY looked at me from his little clip board, and said "OK I'm gonna prescribe you this ointment for fever blisters." Shit didn't work, 2 days later it had gotten bigger and was throbbing. Went to take a nap and when I woke up it was really tight. When I stretched my mouth open, it popped. It was an infected pimple on my lip. That was like 2013. I still have a scar.

I went to an urgent care and they said "well guestimate" on my weight and blood pressure and then prescribed me the wrong medication and it didn't fix anything 😭

went in after falling while hiking, xrayed my elbow; and said it was a minor fracture, gave a sling and sent me home. 3 weeks later I was rushed into surgery, as i still couldn't move it... turns out its had completely sheared off the end of my humerus bone. 3 surgeries, a full year off work and a career change... ill never use urgent care again

Last time I got a pre job drug test it was at urgent care, and even though I had done everything correctly online, the receptionist was on her phone talking and booked me in incorrectly so the doctor asked what I needed yada yada then as I was leaving the same receptionist had the gall to say "next time can you tell me what you're here for so that doesn't happen again". Like excuse me??
