I think we’re saying the same thing. Avoidants can’t expect to suffer the loss from behavior they themselves haven’t confronted. They should be clear they aren’t relationship people until they figure themselves out.

I’m right there now, she was so attentive, affectionate, caring, kind, loving, couldn’t get enough of me in the beginning, and the last three months I’m dealing with all of this. I’ve sought out therapy because she kept telling me I was emotionally immature after I’d try to communicate which is what she’d want, and or when I’d try to set a simple boundary. I can’t leave yet because of exactly what you said, it’s like my own brain is like wtf I know who she is and now I’m dealing with this and trying to get back to the beginning version even though it’s unlikely.

My sweet soul came on quite left quite then 15 yrs later was the first time I talked with him for two months, then reunited in person and I’m still starstruck to him so hard. Now it’s gone quite nc /mt I’m just grateful he’s in my life I now understand his prob thanks to u. It may be also he’s a smartass. Lol but tysm
