@cbsatlanta: Georgia prosecutors are asking a court to allow forensic interviews of minors in the case against Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak and former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kroy Biermann. In an emergency motion filed Thursday, prosecutors said they have a “good faith basis” to seek interviews related to the case but did not provide specifics about the children. Biermann was arrested in August in Alpharetta on charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery connected to an alleged April 23, 2026 incident. A grand jury indicted him this month on seven felony counts, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16. A Fulton County Superior Court judge last week granted Biermann a $200,000 bond, though he remains in custody at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center pending his release. If released, he must live at his mother’s home, attend school virtually, surrender his passport and wear an electronic monitor, while being prohibited from using a cellphone or social media. The judge also barred him from contacting the alleged victim, her family or anyone age 16 or younger. Zolciak has described the allegations as “nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling,” saying her son “categorically denies” the accusations. She also said he voluntarily took a polygraph and that an examination found no DNA belonging to him.
